Deployment Café Halifax Site
Is your loved one deployed to, Haiti, Afghanistan, Sudan, Sierra Leonne, Congo etc.? Well then, your dinner plans are made! Some deployments can be tough, challenging and even stressful so come join us for dinner, connect with other military families and learn more about the supports and resources available to you. Casual care is available for children 5 and under. There will be other fun activities for children 6 and up. Don’t worry we’ll feed the children too. This program is bi-weekly and you are welcome to join us whenever your schedule allows.

Every 2nd Thursday. Upcoming: March 11, & 25 and  April 8 & 22  ~ 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Cost: Covered by Deployment Services

HMCS Fredericton Family Network Grafton St Dinner Theatre

Come out and enjoy great food and great entertainment at the Grafton St Dinner Theatre. You will be watching “Off the Wall”, a musical comedy based on the musical works of Michael Jackson.

Friday March 6, 6:15–10:00pm
$30.00 Fees must be paid at time of registration at the Halifax or Sheawater MFRC.

All Deployed Families Spryfield Wavepool & Pizza Party - Captain Spry Wavepool

Come out and enjoy a fun afternoon with other families who are also experiencing deployment, while enjoying ½ meter to 1½ meter waves. Waves are activated every 15 minutes. There is a deck side patio area and the pool is also fully wheelchair accessible. After the swim we’ll meet in the community room for pizza. NOTE: The parent/guardian needs to be in the pool to swim with their child(ren).

HMCS Fredericton Family Network Spa Day - Halifax Site
Come out for a relaxing afternoon before the ship returns home to Halifax. There will be different stations set up, where people can talk to professionals, collect information & resources, participant in various activities or just sit back and relax, we’ll have:

- Mini Info Session (tips for getting a good night sleep, self care)
- Foot Soak, Mini Facial, Makeup Application
- Resource on self care, etc.
- Adult inspired clothing and products
- Nutritious snacks, chocolate fondue, fancy beverages (non-alcoholic)
- AND Others ( yet to confirmed)

** This will NOT be a SCENT FREE ENVIRONMENT**

Sunday April 18, 2 to 6pm
Attendance is FREE, bring cash for some services and to purchase items

HMCS Fredericton CO’s Monthly Briefing & Pot-luck Supper - Halifax Site

Please join us for the monthly CO’s Family Briefing. The CO will call at 3:00pm and provide us with a power point & video presentation of the ship’s happenings since the last briefing; we will also be creating a welcome home banner. The Deployment Zone will be set up for children 6yrs and older. Following the presentations, we will enjoy a pot luck supper. Upon registration, please indicate what type of food you will be bringing in – salad, dessert or main dish. Casual care will be provided free of charge for those would like to take advantage of this service. Please register in advance to ensure a spot for your child.
