Emergency Services
Emergency/Casual Accomodations
The Halifax & Region MFRC operates six emergency apartments in Halifax for CF members and their families to use when a crisis situation affects a person’s ability to remain in their home. Apartments are free of cost to military families when situations are assessed as an emergency. These apartments are also available to military families for casual usage at a nominal cost.
Emergency Funds
There are times when individuals and families are faced with personal financial difficulties. Following an assessment, the Halifax & Region MFRC may be able to provide emergency assistance through emergency gift cards.
