Reduce, Reuse, Recycle… and Revitalize!

On Friday September 29th, come by the MFRC, Shearwater site, to experience our new Community Room (formerly the Parent & Tot room, beside reception). By reducing and recycling what we didn’t need in the space, reusing items (like the computers from the Internet Cafe), and adding some paint, elbow grease and a new vision, we have revitalized the space into a Community room, for our community! It’s a welcoming place for children’s programs as well as an adult area for info on education, employment… If you`ve seen the room ‘before’ then you will absolutely love the room ‘after’!
