Ahoy Maties!

Military families are invited for an exclusive tour of the tall ship Unicorn on May 26 when the ship will be docked in Lunenburg . Drop in between 2-4 PM. This is an exclusive offer for military families. Please bring your military family ID or military ID.

The Unicorn is the only all-female crewed tall ship in the world, Unicorn sails the sea with proven leadership programs for teenage girls and women. Unicorn partners with Sisters Under Sail, a New Jersey based non-profit corporation dedicated to helping teen girls and women build confidence, develop leadership skills, and witness first-hand what women can do together when focused on a common goal. In partnership with the MFRC, four CF youth from across Canada will participate in Sisters Under Sail this year.

Defensive Driving Courses Defensive Driving Courses are available for families of CFB Halifax and 12 Wing Shearwater’s military and civilian community, certified by Canada’s Safety Council and is recognized by Access Nova Scotia.  There is no cost,please donate a non-perishable food item for the Metro Food Bank.
