Putting Military Families FIRST 24 Hours a day
Got a question? Looking for information? Need some help? Whatever the reason, the Family Information & Referral Services Team (FIRST) is here for you 24 hours a day, seven days per week. The FIRST staff can provide information and referral, implement emergency child care, get you in touch with a duty padre, respond to concerns and answer questions.
Highly qualified staff are available 24/7 call (902) 427-7788 (toll free 1-888-753-8827).
The FIRST staff can register you for all MFRC programs, upcoming events and deployment network events. We are fortunate to be one of the only MFRC’s to be able to provide a comprehensive 24 hour service to our military community.
Referrals to appropriate organizations/agencies in case of an emergency (please note that in Nova Scotia, all emergency services are accessible through calling 911 on the telephone)
Military Family Identification Card

The MFID is available to immediate military family members only, including spouses/common-law partners and children who are ages 13 and over. The MFID is available to families of both Regular and Reserve Force members.
